A day on which Americans – allegedly – celebrate the wonderful opportunities afforded by the American economy… usually celebrated with a day off work… and maybe a parade.

Unfortunately, for more and more of us, a national public holiday is “just another day,” because 95 million Americans of working age are “outside the workforce”… when we count the people who are unemployed and looking, the people who are unemployed and not looking, the people who were forced to take early retirement because their jobs were eliminated and there were no others…

Why have the jobs left? Some will blame Chinese and Indian enticements to employers. Such people don’t realize the misery of dealing with three-month lead times, language barriers, untrained staff, seaport shutdowns, containerline bankruptcies, and 14-hour transoceanic travel every time you have to solve problems at your factory.

NOBODY moves a job overseas because they WANT to.

America’s businesses have moved overseas because they’ve HAD to… because Democrat policies have driven them away.

And Hillary Clinton and Tim Kaine – the presidential ticket of the Democrats for 2016 – are committed to continuing all the same policies that have put us where we are today.

Read the Clinton campaign issues page. Look up what she promises to do on taxes, regulations, and union issues. The Clinton-Kaine team is committed to raise taxes even more, to increase the regulatory burden on America’s employers even more, to make this an ever-harder place in which to do business.

If you’re unemployed, don’t expect your odds to improve if Clinton/Kaine is able to continue the Obama administration’s destruction for another four, eight, or twelve years.

And if you HAVE a job – in this awful economy – make sure you have a backup plan, because our employment situation is only going to get worse if the Democrats remain in power.
