She wins an Olympic medal, but immediately embarrasses America by doing this

To say I am shocked and disappointed by this is an understatement. I thought that Simone Manuel was a devout Christian and a budding heroine to millions of young women and athletes out there. But she opened her mouth and in her first statement after making Olympic history embarrassed America and disillusioned me concerning her character forever. Instead of being humble, thanking God and setting a good example, she chose to make it all about her race and cop-hatred, bringing police brutality up as if that was the main problem in America. Cop-hatred and killings are far more of a problem and none of that belongs at the Olympics.

You don’t go on a national stage and air your grievances with your country for the world to see. It goes far beyond bad manners. I’m sure once her swimming career ends, she’ll get a nice comfy liberal job with the Marxist media. If the hate fits… I just can’t believe she did that. She not only disparaged her country, she insulted Texas. Wonder how that will be seen in the Lone Star state?

From Mad World News:

After being declared the first black American to win gold in an Olympic swimming competition, Simone Manuel was granted an opportunity to address the public. Unfortunately, she used her platform to speak about police in America, and it only took her one line to thoroughly embarrass our nation.

Entitled brats are wreaking havoc in our country, and they seem to fill the ranks of any demographic, position, or rank. Proving just that, the woman who was recently declared the first black American woman to win gold in an Olympic swimming competition has taken it upon herself to use her public platform to spew her political beliefs.

In Rio on August 11, Simone Manuel finished the 100-meter freestyle with a time of 52:70 and tied with 16-year-old Penny Oleksiak from Canada. The two both technically won and now share an Olympic record. Unfortunately, in an interview regarding her first place win, the American Olympian decided to go a little off topic – a little to the left, to be more precise.

“It means a lot, especially with what is going on in the world today, some of the issues of police brutality,” she said. “This win hopefully brings hope and change to some of the issues that are going on. My color just comes with the territory.”

Broadcasting entitlement and victimhood, Simone just couldn’t shut it: “It is something I’ve definitely struggled with a lot,” Manuel said. “Coming into the race I tried to take [the] weight of the black community off my shoulders. It’s something I carry with me. I want to be an inspiration, but I would like there to be a day when it is not ‘Simone the black swimmer.’” She even went so far as to say, “The title of black swimmer suggests that I am not supposed to win golds or break records.” That’s a blatant petulant lie and just absurd. Shame on her.

The color of her skin has nothing to do with any of this and to get up there on that platform and whine like a privileged brat who has no clue about real life speaks volumes. Here’s some advice… stick to swimming and stop spouting off about politics. You just insulted your country and Americans and made a mockery of your gold medal. Congrats!
