McOperatives employ deplorable intimidation tactics

John McCain is desperate. Campaigning for his sixth six-year term at age 80, he and his operatives will stop at nothing in order to keep the gravy train rolling. His contemptible reaction to being censured by Arizona elected Republican party leaders was an indication of the depths to which he will sink in order to maintain what he obviously regards as his rightful supremacy. Joined by Democrat Carl Levin, McCain attempted to rein in conservative political advocacy groups by having them targeted by IRSofficial Lois Lerner.

His dirty tricks know  no bounds. McCain’s accommodating team, who bask in what they consider the reflective glow of toadying for the senior politician don’t let common decency get in their way as they video stalk his photogenic challenger Dr. Kelli Ward at her own events. Their explicit desire is intimidation, eager to catch a verbal gaffe or unflattering expression that can be used in negative ads against her — taking the practice of what was previously known as opposition research to extremes.

Breitbart reports (video included) on McCain senior staffer Trevor Abarzua, 23, plowing into Ward’s 71-year-old mother, Dr. Lorraine Byrd, knocking her off balance as she entered the restaurant where her physician daughter was scheduled to address supporters at a “Meet and Greet‘ event on Monday. Dr. Byrd is a Lake Havasu City pediatrician.

Dr. Kelli Ward is quoted as saying. “People are sick and tired of intimidation tactics like these. Career politicians will do anything to win re-election so they can stay in Washington. It’s time to send a message that this sort of behavior is unacceptable. It’s time to Retire McCain.”

McCain’s staffers have been off the charts in the embarrassment department. Besides the brutish Trevor Abarzua, McCain’s fundraiser, Emily Orme Pitha, 34, was busted in April for having an operational meth lab, hard drugs, explosives, and counterfeit cash in the home she shared with her boyfriend and two young children. She had previously worked for former U.S. Sen. Jon Kyl.

This survey by Public Policy Polling shows McCain and Ward tied, each with 41 percent of potential Republican primary voters. His Arizona approval rating is at a dismal 35 percent.

Nationally, as reported in the Daily Caller, McCain is a bottom-dragger, sharing the title of “Least Popular Senator” with his doppelganger, Jeff Flake. He and his operatives read the polls, which is why they will stop at nothing to keep him from losing his last race.
