Just three days after saying that Planned Parenthood’s selling the body parts of aborted babies is “ethical,” President Barack Obama’s top spokesman this afternoon cut off a reporter and refused to discuss the issue further. The Obama official also confirmed President Obama will not agree to cut off taxpayer funding of the abortion company over the shocking news.
Last week, Obama’s top spokesman today defended the Planned Parenthood abortion business after a shocking new expose’ video caught Planned Parenthood’s top doctor describing how the abortion business sells the body parts of aborted babies.
As LifeNews reported, new undercover footage shows Planned Parenthood Federation of America’sSenior Director of Medical Services, Dr. Deborah Nucatola, describing how Planned Parenthood sells the body parts of aborted unborn children and admitting she uses partial-birth abortions to supply intact body parts. Nucatola is an Obama administration adviser.
Obama spokesman Josh Ernest defended the abortion giant, despite not having seen the video. Although he said he has not viewed the video, Earnest says Planned Parenthood follows “the highest ethical guidelines” on medical research. Earnest referred questions about Planned Parenthood to Planned Parenthood.
“I haven’t spoken to the president” about the video, Earnest said.
“I did read news reports,” Earnest said. “Planned Parenthood said they follow the highest ethical guidelines.
Now, according to the Washington Free Beacon, the Obama spokesman has confirmed Planned Parenthood will continued getting taxpayer funding.
“No,” Josh Earnest said when asked if the White House would reconsider federal funding for Planned Parenthood. He immediately turned away from the reporter to call on someone else.
According to a Free Beacon analysis, Earnest devoted one word and approximately one second to the Planned Parenthood controversy during the press briefing. Earlier, he opined for several minutes on the comments of GOP presidential candidate Donald Trump.
The answer from Obama’s spokesman is not surprising give a new report that Planned Parenthood’s Nucatola serves on the board of a pro-abortion sex ed group founded by a former Obama administration official and whose board includes current Obama administration staff.
Obama has spoken before Planned Parenthood’s national conference, the abortion giant endorsed and worked closely with Obama and his administration, and its CEO Cecile Richards has hobnobbed with Obama at White House functions.
In the video, Nucatola is at a business lunch with actors posing as buyers from a human biologics company. As head of PPFA’s Medical Services department, Nucatola has overseen medical practice at all Planned Parenthood locations since 2009. She also trains new Planned Parenthood abortion doctors and performs abortions herself at Planned Parenthood Los Angeles up to 24 weeks.
Nucatola admits that Planned Parenthood charges per-specimen for baby body parts, uses pseudo-partial-birth abortion procedures in order to get salable parts, and is aware of their own liability for doing so and takes steps to cover it up.
In the video, Nucatola admits that Planned Parenthood charges per-specimen for baby body parts, uses illegal partial-birth abortion procedures in order to get salable parts, and is aware of their own liability for doing so and takes steps to cover it up.
The footage shockingly depicts the top medical official at the Planned Parenthood corporation munching on her salad while she discusses the sale of body parts of unborn children victimized by abortions. She brazenly describes how the heads of unborn babies killed in abortions command top dollar.
The buyers ask Nucatola, “How much of a difference can that actually make, if you know kind of what’s expected, or what we need?”
“It makes a huge difference,” Nucatola replies. “I’d say a lot of people want liver. And for that reason, most providers will do this case under ultrasound guidance, so they’ll know where they’re putting their forceps. The kind of rate-limiting step of the procedure is calvarium. Calvarium—the head—is basically the biggest part.”
Nucatola explains, “We’ve been very good at getting heart, lung, liver, because we know that, so I’m not gonna crush that part, I’m gonna basically crush below, I’m gonna crush above, and I’m gonna see if I can get it all intact.”
“And with the calvarium, in general, some people will actually try to change the presentation so that it’s not vertex,” she continues. “So if you do it starting from the breech presentation, there’s dilation that happens as the case goes on, and often, the last step, you can evacuate an intact calvarium at the end.”
In a video response to the heavy criticism, Planned Parenthood CEO Cecile Richards apologizes for the tone the Nucatola took but not for selling the body parts of aborted babies. Another shocking video exposing Planned Parenthood selling aborted babies is expected next week.
Over the last few days, nearly every Republican candidate for president as well as countless lawmakers have expressed their outrage regarding the video and called on Congress to defund Planned Parenthood. A total of six states are slated to begin investigations of the Planned Parenthood abortion business.
Dr. Nucatola said, “You’re just kind of cognizant of where you put your graspers, you try to intentionally go above and below the thorax, so that, you know, we’ve been very good at getting heart, lung, liver, because we know that, so I’m not gonna crush that part, I’m going to basically crush below, I’m gonna crush above, and I’m gonna see if I can get it all intact.”
The abortionist also explains that Planned Parenthood charges per-specimen for baby body parts and is aware of their own liability for doing so. When asked about a price, she said, “I would say it’s probably anywhere from $30 to $100, depending on the facility and what’s involved.” Unbelievably, she admits that some body parts, such as livers and heads, are much more popular and go for a higher price than other specimen.
David Daleiden, the founder of the group Center for Medical Progress told CBS News, “Planned Parenthood is still receiving $50, $75, sometimes $100 per specimen per fetal part. So all of that is just straight up profit that goes to their bottom line.”
